Oman Animal Welfare Association (OAWA) is a registered NGO working in Oman to save the local animals, mainly, but not limited to, cats and dogs.  OAWA was established under Ministerial Decision No. 171/2025 on the 22nd May 2025.  Our initiatives include Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) programs, and solar-powered feeding stations to be placed in strategic locations around Muscat to feed local dogs and cats.  We also have a Foster & Adoption program to give these animals loving homes, running alongside the Rescue program.  We are also focusing on education to enlighten the younger Omani generation on learning kindness towards all animals, great or small.  Since we are an NGO, we reply solely on donations, contributions and sponsorships.  All members of the Association are working hard as volunteers, from the heart.
