Hamed currently serves as Executive General Manager - Technical Services and Decarbonization , where he leads the development and implementation of greenhouse gas reduction initiatives, energy management programs, and low-carbon and net-zero strategies. In this role, he drives the transition toward more sustainable operations, aligning environmental performance with long-term business objectives.

Prior to his current position, Hamed was Asset Management Excellence Regional Manager at Shell, based in The Hague. There, he supported a diverse portfolio of assets across Upstream, LNG, and Downstream businesses, strengthening operational performance and asset reliability across multiple geographies.

With over 19 years of industry experience, Hamed has held a wide range of leadership and technical roles spanning Strategic Planning, Operations Management, Risk and Reliability Management, Process Safety, Project Management, Performance Management, Business Transformation, Continuous Improvement, Asset Management Systems implementation, as well as ERP and CMMS deployments. His multidisciplinary expertise enables him to integrate operational excellence with strategic transformation initiatives.

Hamed holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Leeds and brings a strong technical foundation to his leadership in energy transition and asset optimization.
